PhotoFund is an on-demand photography app with a charitable twist.

There are two ways to use PhotoFund:
1) For Photo-seekers, select “To pose and post” when creating an account:

Request a Photo
For a flat $5 fee, you can request a photo, and based on your location youll be paired with a PhotoFunder nearby.

Pose for Photo
Instantly connect with your assigned PhotoFunder and pose for up to 5 photos.

Share and Do Good
Youll get the shot you can share, and PhotoFund will donate to a local charitable organization.

2) For iPhone photographers, select “I’m a photo-taker” when creating an account:

All you need is an iPhone to start earning money taking great pictures. You will be matched with nearby PhotoFunders requesting photos. Accept as many requests as you want!

Why PhotoFund?

We came up with the idea for PhotoFund on our honeymoon in May 2018. We love to travel and of course a big part of adventure seeking is getting Instagram-worthy pictures (something we often struggled with).

One afternoon in Cape Town, South Africa, we decided to make a stop in the Bo-Kaap, a famously instagrammed area known for its brightly colored homes and cobble stoned streets. What we didnt know at the time was that the residents were actively protesting the gentrification of their neighborhood.

Then it hit us. What if there was a way to give back to local communities that we are all so eager to Instagram? PhotoFund was born.

Our mission is to make capturing your photos easier, so you can stop worrying about getting a good one and go back to living in the moment. Even better, we want to make it easier for people to support local charities too.
